Start eating sweet potato every day, your body will thank you

Surely you've heard that you should eat vitamins and minerals in good quantities to stay healthy and even young. And it is true. 


The diet of sweet potatoes or sweet potato (or as you say in your country) ensures that it will help you lose weight if you include it in your diet daily. 

Thanks to its consumption you can obtain a large amount of beta-carotene, an excellent antioxidant. Sweet potatoes have a good amount of fiber and are a considerable source of carbohydrates, which will give you energy for day to day. In addition, it contains a little protein and a minimum amount of fats.

Sweet potatoes contain many vitamins such as C that help the skin and fight diseases; B5 and B6 that help convert food into energy; and vitamin E, which helps protect you from skin oxidation. 

You can also find in this tuber, a large amount of potassium and manganese, which help the good blood flow and the correct development of the metabolism, respectively. 

Taking a diet based on this tuber is excellent to keep your skin young and in excellent condition, as well as to keep your body healthy. 

But it may not be for anyone, since this food does not contain iron, folic acid and calcium, a fundamental mineral for pregnant women. So if you are planning to perform this diet and expect a baby, it is best to supplement it with green leaves such as lettuce or spinach, which contain a large amount of iron. 

It does serve for people who perform constant physical activity, because the load of complex carbohydrates that exist in this food is very large, this is converted into glucose that is incorporated into the muscles, which will provide energy to the body.
