7 habits that could be harming your health

The Huffington Post portal has shared a series of habits that we commit daily and that could affect our health. Avoid them!

Many of us, perhaps, put into practice daily a series of habits, without imagining that we could be causing a serious problem to our health. Our lifestyle and the pace of work we carry are, in most cases, the triggers of these evils.

How many times, in the mornings, the first thing we do is take a cup of coffee? Well, this, according to the Huffington Post, could dehydrate us and cause us digestive problems, for being on an empty stomach.
  • Sitting all day . It is one of the great evils of the times we live.According to the Huffington Post, it can have a significant negative impact on physical and mental health, including an increased risk of cancer, diabetes and blood clots.
  • I do not sleep enough . It is proven that lack of sleep can lead to a variety of diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, depression, heart disease and obesity. Experts recommend practicing a relaxing ritual and maintaining a constant sleep routine.
  • Do not apply sunscreen . It is something we must do every day: in summer or in winter. Regular use of sunscreen can reduce the risk of developing squamous cell carcinoma by 40% and melanoma by 50%.
  • Overloading work . Today's society is obsessed with productivity and we assume as many tasks as possible. However, the constant obligation can become a toxic habit that, eventually, generates physical and mental exhaustion.
  • Let the first thing you eat is a cup of coffee . Several studies have shown that caffeine can help to reactivate the metabolism. But it is not advisable, as a first option, to look for a cup of coffee in the early morning hours, as it contributes to your body becoming dehydrated.
  • Do not take the proper time to eat. Having lunch while writing a work email may seem like a victory in the multitasking department, but that can lead to a series of digestive problems. You need to be relaxed to properly digest the food.
  • Go to "Dr. Google" . The Internet can be a bad source of information and the catalyst of concern when you use it to diagnose a medical condition. The emotional impact of being diagnosed virtually in the wrong way can be equally g rave.
